Massage Therapy

Registered massage therapy is provided by RMT's who have been certified by the CMTBC after completing training from an accredited school. Massage therapy focuses on treatment of muscle, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and skin. Studies have found massage to be beneficial in helping reduce stress, increase relaxation, improve immune function, decrease pain and muscle tension.

Taylor is a graduate of Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. Prior to starting the RMT program, she completed her Bachelor of Human Kinetics at Trinity Western University.

She strives to create a safe space for patients while helping them achieve their health and wellness goals. Taylor aims to tailor treatments to each patient’s individual needs incorporating a variety of techniques including Swedish massage, myofascial techniques and trigger point release.

In her spare time, Taylor enjoys cycling, pilates, reading the latest non-fiction bestseller, and watching local sports teams. In addition, she enjoys spending quality time with her French bulldog Simon.

I was drawn to massage therapy after experiencing the benefits of manual therapy first hand while recovering from various injuries.

After graduating from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, I am now looking forward to helping others. I believe that Massage Therapy allows a focused and hands-on relationship between patient and therapist and the ability to encourage a holistic approach to rehabilitation. As an RMT, my treatments include a variety of techniques such as Swedish-relaxation massage, myofascial & neuromuscular techniques, stretching and active rehabilitation.

Whether your goals are to return to activity following an injury, maintain strength and flexibility, improve posture or simply to take some time to relax- I look forward to finding the approach that works best for you. Together we will work towards achieving your health goals.

When I am not treating patients, you can usually find me in the outdoors: hiking, snowboarding, camping or floating in a nearby lake. However, I aim to keep a balanced lifestyle so I may also be binging a new Netflix show or reading a good book
